Start with Kindergarten if:
• Your child is learning letter sounds or isn't confident enough yet
• Your child is beginning early reading or struggles with reading 3 or 4 letter words
Start with Year 1 if:
• Your child knows their sounds confidently and pronounces them correctly
• Your child can confidently read 3 and 4 letter words and short sentences
• Your child struggles with words containing long vowels
Start with Year 2 if:
• Your child reads simple words but struggles with advanced spelling patterns
